About: I'm a biomedical scientist and educator with a passion for teaching and research in the life sciences. I hold a PhD in Biomolecular Sciences from the University of Lethbridge, as well as a prior PhD in Medical Sciences from Ukraine. With over 12 years of experience teaching Human Pathological Physiology and more than 4 years teaching biological sciences in Canada, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both traditional and innovative approaches to science education. A deep interest in the molecular mechanisms of aging, cellular senescence, and chronic disease has driven my academic journey. I’m especially committed to fostering student engagement and creating supportive, inclusive learning environments. Whether in the classroom or the lab, I strive to bridge complex biomedical concepts with real-world applications to help students thrive and grow as critical thinkers and future professionals.
